10 Man NPPL Paintball League:

NPPL stood for National Professional Paintball League.
10 Man NPPL was one of the early major paintball tournament leagues and was formed in 1993 by a combining major stand alone events. The goal was to create a united series with points carrying from event to event to determine who was the best team in the world each year. This is where the battles really began between Ironmen, All Americans and Aftershock. Those three teams dominated the early years in 10 man. They were kings of the that era of 1993 – 1997. 10 man saw various transitions in rules and game layout. Most notable changes was the movement from woods ball into hyper ball and then air ball fields. The era of 10 man format ended in 2002 as the format changed from 10 man into the Xball format which today is called “Race format”.
